Best Season & Best time to visit Corbett National Park

Jim Corbett National Park experiences a temperate climate all round the year. But the park is opened for the public only from 15th November to 15th June which is indeed the best time to plan a tour to gaze at this wonderful wildlife at the Corbett.

The summer season (March-June) becomes gradually hot with maximum temperature reaching up to 40 degree C. The gates of the park remain open till mid June, hence it is an ideal time to catch the glimpses of the rich wild species in the park.

Monsoon season (June-September) in the park is characterized by heavy rainfall and most of the parts get closed in the Corbett. But it is a good time to enjoy the beautiful greenery and serene natural beauty of the region.

Winter (November-February) is the best time to enjoy the sightseeing as well as wildlife in the forest. The climate is quite cool and pleasant with temperature ranging from 4-30 degree C. The winters offer a picture perfect backdrop for the tourists to enjoy the jeep safaris and the chirping of the birds all across the park.
