Jaswant Garh, Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh - A memorial dedicated to soldier Jaswant Singh

Located around 20 km from the Sela Pass, the Jaswant Garh is also a great site to be seen while visiting Tawang. The place is the residence of Jaswant Singh who was a great warrior and sacrificed his life during the war against Chinese soldiers. He fought the Indo-China war in 1962 and fought continuously for 72 hours, finally sacrificing for the sake of his land. Thus, this place was converted as a tourist attraction to pay a tribute and salute to this brave soldier.
