The summers in Manikaran extend from April to June with minimum temperature of 6 degree C and maximum of 16 degree C. It is the best time to visit the place as the climate is neither too hot nor too cold and offers a pleasant ambience to enjoy the sightseeing of Manikaran.
The monsoon in Manikaran commences from July and continues till September. The place receives moderate rainfall all across the year but the maximum of rainfall occurs in monsoon and the temperature hovers around 8 degree C. This season is not recommended to visit Manikaran due to slippery hill sides and mountain slides.
The winter season is quite cold and chilly in Manikaran that extends from November to March. The minimum temperature may drops down to -8 degree C and chilly winds are blown through the entire region. Heavy woolen clothes are required to visit the place in winters.
