Best Season & Best time to visit Kaziranga National Park

All the three seasons spread their charm and majesty to this wonderful national park. Thus, it is quite better or rather best to visit the park during the time period between October to May.

 

Summers in the national park are very dry and humid. The temperature ranges between 25°C to 37°C. From March to May, one can experience summer season in this park.

 

Monsoons in the Kaziranga National Park are very active just because of lush vegetation and deep forests. The month facing the monsoon season are from May to September but it is better to avoid this season for fruitful and enthralling trip.

 

Winters in Kaziranga National Park are very pleasant and mild. The temperature during this season in the park varies between 5°C to 30°C, which is quite pleasant. The month facing the winter season in the park begin from November and continues till February.

 

Every season offers their best to visitors like summers offer rare views of wild animals coming out of their shelter in search of water whereas winters offer pleasant and great climate to visit the park. Therefore, it is best to explore the park during summers and winters but monsoons are quite risky.
