Lonavala is the well-known hill station of India located in Maharashtra state. The hill station got its name from the Sanskrit word “Lonavali” that means a group of caves. This astonishing hill station is stretched over an area of 38 sq.kms. In 1871, both the Lonavala and the Khandala was revealed by the Governor of the Bombay Presidency named Lord Elphinstone.
