Koli Temple is supposed to be the main worshipping place for the fishermen habitat in and near Lonavala region. This temple is situated off the main Chaitya Hall lying in the Karla Caves. The main deity of this Koli temple is the Goddess named AaiEkvira. One can see flocks of people rush towards this temple at the time of main occasions like Navratri and Chaitra. In Koli temple, most of the local Kolitribes people used to sacrifice the animals like goat and chickens in front of Goddess to gratify her and get their wish fulfilled.
