Weather conditions of Haridwar are quite interesting sometimes as it undergoes the hot temperature throughout the day but gets colder during the night. But if we talk generally, then the temperate type of climate dominates the whole year.

 

During the summers, the temperature reaches to 40°C during the whole day and falls around 15°C in night. Isn’t it sounds interesting!! Winters in Haridwar are very shivering and chilly. The temperature varies between 0.6°C to 16°C and the months that face winters in the city are from October to February but the climate during this season is quite pleasant to get there.

 

Monsoons in Haridwar begin from June and continue till September. The city does not get heavy rainfall but moderate. The temperature falls down to great extent but it increases humidity level.

 

The best time to visit Haridwar is during the months from October to April. During these months, the temperature and the weather conditions are quite favorable and pleasant. If you want to visit Haridwar for taking a dip in holy river Ganga, then you must visit the place in summers as the water of Ganga is too cold.
