It is the place where tribals of various communities like the Gamits,Warlis Kunbis and Bhils reside. In the winter season as the rivers are lightened by the rays of the sun, mountains outlining the hill station and birds chirping, we can see a magical effect of this place. Lush beautiful greeneries and beautiful dense forest fill the hills with the rain drops drizzling along the sloping big green leaf. There is a characteristic growth of a thick forest cover. The sun gleaming and stars shining with the wonderful clear sky is seen at the summer season.
We can often see a lot many tourists thronging their way to this place mainly for its fascinating scenic views. It offers a lovely climate, breathtaking views and lofty hills for trekking. Nature walking, climbing into the far mountains are very adventurous and a boon for the nature lovers. The dense forests and charming environment is the main attraction to this place. Saputara is famous for its pure vegetarian thalis made in the Gujarat style. Some offer Punjabi and Chinese food. The food which is served and the way it is served gives a feeling of sitting at home and eating contentedly the food made by our mom.
