Best Season & Best time to visit Munnar

Munnar is one of the most clean and hygienic cities of India and face favorable climate throughout the year. Therefore, Munnar has a moderate type of climate all round the year. Summers of Munnar are not too hot and sticky but are very pleasant with the temperature ranging from 25°C to 15°C. Summers in Munnar is felt in the months from March to May.

 

If we talk of winters, then the winters in Munnar are too cold and shivering. The winter months in Munnar are from December to February. The temperature revolves round 10°C in winters but sometimes, it even touched 0°C.

 

Monsoon season of Munnar is also wonderful and pleasant. During June to September, Munnar faces the monsoon season. Munnar also faces sometimes heavy rainfall so it is advisable to avoid a visit during rainy season.

 

The best time to visit Munnar is during October to May when the beauty of the city is at its fullest. For honeymoon visit, it is best to go in the months between October to February whereas for enjoying adventurous activities, just make sure to visit Munnar in the month of November.
