Located in the state of Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur is a historical city and a major touristdestination which is also renowned as the second most developed city in the state. Nestled at the banks of River Arpa, the city is believed to be 400 years old and is named after a fisherwoman, Bilasa. In the later times, a new Bilaspur Township has been developed which is just above the old city of Bilaspur located at a height of 670 meter above sea level.
