Almora boasts of a cool and pleasant climate round the year with average temperature from 10 to 23 degree C. Though the quaint hill town looks beautiful in all the seasons but the ideal time to visit the hill town is from March to November.

Summers are from April to July when the climate is moderate with maximum temperature up to 30 degree C. This time is ideal to visit the wonderful attractions in and around the town.

Winters extend from December to February with very cold climate. The chilly winds are blown all through and the mercury drops down to 0 degree C. The entire region becomes freezy and heavy woolen clothes are required if you want to enjoy the snow capped peaks of Almora during winters.

Monsoon months (August to October) bring moderate rainfall that makes the town even more striking and beautiful. The lush green foliage and blooming flowers offer a panoramic atmosphere for the tourists.
