Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Travel Agent Visits and Introductions:
    • Regularly visit travel agent offices in the designated territory
    • Introduce FTD Travel’s platform and highlight our B2B benefits such as best-in-market rates for flights, hotels, buses, visas, cabs, and travel insurance
  • Onboarding New Travel Agents:
    • Guide and assist travel agents in signing up on our website: www.ftd.travel
    • Ensure agents understand the platform's features, benefits, and booking process
  • KYC Documentation Collection:
    • Collect necessary KYC documents, including the agent’s PAN Card and Address Proof, to activate their accounts
    • Submit documents for verification promptly to facilitate agent onboarding
  • Sales Growth and Relationship Management:
    • Maintain a regular communication schedule with onboarded travel agents
    • Encourage agents to make bookings through the platform, understanding their needs, and solving any issues to enhance sales growth
    • Assist agents with any queries related to bookings and account usage, building a strong and trusting relationship
Candidate Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Minimum high school diploma; a degree in business or travel-related field is preferred
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proactive, organized, and goal-oriented
  • Experience: Prior experience in sales or a client-facing role is an advantage, especially in the travel industry
  • Personal Attributes: Must be smart, presentable, and confident, with an ability to build rapport with clients
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Must own a two-wheeler for travel within the territory
    • A smartphone to manage communications and access company systems
    • Fluent in English or Hindi and 1 Local Territory Language
Compensation Structure:
  • Fixed: Fixed component based on market standards
  • Travel Conveyance Allowance: Reimbursement or allowance to cover travel expenses
