Thiruvalla is an important religious site for the Vaishnavites across South India. There is a famous Shri Vallabha Temple in Thiruvalla which houses a beautiful statue of Garuda. The statue is placed on a granite pillar of carved rock and is 60 feet high. Apart from religious significance, the place is also dotted with plenty of natural attractions and historical monuments that make it a worth visiting site for the tourists while their tour to Sabarimala.
