If you are no short of time in Madikeri, do visit the sacred pilgrimage destination near the town which is popular among the devotees as the origin place of holy River Kaveri. Perched at a height of 1276 m above sea level, the place is marked by a small pond called as Brahma Kundika from where the river flows out and then undergoes again after a short distance.
