Set amidst the stunning picturesque, Pushkar Lake is one of the not to be missed spots in Ajmer. It is situated only at the distance of 11 kms from Ajmer in the deep valley. The lake is not only famous for its charm and fantasy but it has great role in a Hindu’s life. On the banks of Pushkar Lake, one can see a cluster of around 400 temples and about 52 bathing ghats. Myriad of people come to Pushkar Lake for taking holy bath and you can see lots of people here especially on the Purnima of Kartik month.
