Minicoy, Lakshadweep - Scenic beauty and for tuna Canning

Minicoy is the furthermost island from Kavaratti and lies at the southernmost nook of Lakshadweep. Minicoy Island is second if we talk of area and comes just after Andrott Island. The crescent shaped Minicoy is the only island of Lakshadweep where Mahl language is used for communication whereas in all other Islands, Malayalam is spoken. Here, largest lagoon can be witnessed in Minicoy. The most exciting activity performed here is tuna fishing and the place is famous for tuna canning. 300ft Light house and an ancient Juma Mosque are two main attractions of this Island.
