It is the only one Lenin Statue of the whole county which is erected in Vijayawada. This is a marvelous attraction to be seen in the town that symbolizes the ideologies of communism and also signifies the struggle of the working class people in India. Every year on the World’s Labourer day on May 1, a function is organized at this place with several activities. Another point of attraction at this place is the statue of Karl Max which is 25 years old and was erected when the state of Andhra Pradesh was under the rule of the communists.
