Brahmagiri Sanctuary, Kabini, Karnataka - wildlife, bird watching, scenic beauty
Located in the Kodagu district, the Brahmagiri Sanctuary is also the main attraction of Nagahole. Brahmagiri Sanctuary mainly consists of Shola grasslands, evergreen and semi-evergreen forests. The sanctuary got its name after Brahmagiri peak, located at the considerable height of 1607 m. Also, the sanctuary is home to different types of wildlife and bird species. The main animals that could be spotted in this sanctuary are Leopard Cat, Malabar giant squirrel, mongoose, tiger, gaur, lion-tailed macaque and many more. Thus, the place is too good for wildlife lovers, bird-watchers and even for those who loves to be getting surrounded with lush green vegetation.
