Bindu Sarovar, also well-known as Bindu Sagar and Ocean Drop, is one of the main tourist spots of the city. The lake is not only point of interests but it also carries sacred beliefs. The tank is supposed to have the water collected from different sacred rivers and water lakes of country. The tank is situated very close to different famous temples of the city -  Ananta Vasudeva and Lingaraj temple. The lake holds great importance at the time of festivals held in Lingaraj temple as the main deity of the temple is brought here to take bath before starting the actual celebration of the festival.
