Lonavala city get its water supply from an artificial reservoir named Tungarli Lake and its water is also used for the irrigation purpose in the Rajmachi region. This awesome lake is one of the most famous attractions in Lonavala. Transverse to the Tungarli Lake, there is a famous dam called Tungarli Dam. This reservoir was built in the year 1930 under the British reign. Nowadays, this lake is enclosed with numerous resorts and got converted into the best place for picnic and a day excursion. There is also a garden located just close to the lake and is an ideal pick for the evening walk.
