TTD Gardens, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh - Different varieties of plants
The TTD Gardens are ornamental, flower and landscape gardens occupying total area of 460 acres in Tirumala and Tirupati. There are four nurseries, categorized with the Travellers Bungalow area, Sri Padmavathi Guest house area, Gogarbham Dam area and Divyaramam area. These are home to ten lakh plants that are annually circulated. One can see hybrid types of hibiscus, crotons and bougainvilleas. There are almost 200 varieties of plants planted in this garden and named after great personalities like Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma, Dr. N. T. Rama Rao and the likes. One can even relax in the nearby library which has a number of books and publications.
