Shimla is one of such places which attract millions of tourists every year. And like other hill stations in North India, it too has the mall road which is the main street of the place. This beautiful street was constructed during the colonial British rule keeping the level lower than the edge. Mall road can be called as a shopping centre where a number of restaurants, showrooms, department stores, shops and cafes exist. The best way to enjoy here is to have a leisurely walk around this road. Along this road, there are offices of Municipal Corporation, fire service, and police headquarters.
