Falling from a considerable height of 250 feet, St. Catherine Falls is also well-known as Catherine Falls. The most enchanting part of this waterfall is that if you want to explore the site from the top of the fall, then you can go via road side. Also, the view of entire waterfall as a single scenario just standing at the Dolphin’s Nose, other must-see place of Coonoor, is not less that a great spine-tingling experience!! Located only at the distance of 17 kms away from Coonoor, the Catherine Falls is really a great place that got its name after the wife of MD Cocburn, first man to start coffee plantation in Yercaud and Kotagiri.
