J.D. Sims was the main founder of one awesome botanical garden named Sim’s Park and he constructed this garden in 1874. Hovering over an area of 12 acres, the garden is well-laid with different types of flora brought from the different nook of not only the country but from all over the globe. The park holds great place in the Coonoor because of two reasons – of course one is its lavishness and other one is the celebration of Fruit and Vegetable festival every year. This park is really great place to spend the whole day with your family and also best pick for picnicking.
