Shivasamudaram Falls, Bangalore, Karnataka - Wonderful scenic spot with great waterfall

River Cauvery beautifully forms the Shivasamudram falls at a distance of about 130 kilometers from Bangalore. This was the first place in India to have a hydro electric plant. This plant, known as Bluff, was built around a century ago almost. Not many people are aware of this fact. The first fall of this stretch of falls is known as Gaganachukki. It is not very safe to get down towards the fall because the ridges are dangerous. No felicity for staying there or eating is available. Tourists are therefore advised to carry their own meal before setting out towards this beautiful place.
