Nana Rao Park is not only an amusement park in Kanpur but also it holds great significance in the history of Kanpur. It is located on the west side of Phool Bagh and derived its name from Nana Rao Peshwa, one of the freedom fighters of India. The foundation stone of this park was put at the time of first war held in 1857 during Independence era. Also, the Bibighar Massacre event took place in this park only.
