This state museum is situated at Bayavu Hill which is only at a distance of one and a half kms from the main town. Nagaland State Museum put on display the remnants of almost all the 16 tribes of Nagas in form of collection like necklaces, precious stones, clan motifs, traditional dresses, statue, a ceremonial drum, etc. Not only this, the museum also displays “Naga Morung”. These are the structures of huts which throws light on architectural differences.
