Marudamalai temple is one of the best religious places in Coimbatore. It is very magnificent and great pious and religious environment could be felt by just entering the temple area. It is located only at the distance of 12 kms from Coimbatore Railway station. Basically the temple belongs to Lord Muruga, the main deity of Southern India. If want to witness the great fascination of festivals of South India, then you must visit the place during the month of January and February when the two main festivals named “Thaipoosam” and “Thirukarthigai” are celebrated here. Architectural style of the temple is really marvelous and astonishing!!
