Kohima undergoes a moderate humid sub-tropical climate just because of its location above the 1500 meters above the sea level. Summers in Kohima are neither too hot nor too humid. March to June are the summer months in Kohima. The temperature during summers ranges from 16°C to 31°C. Therefore, the climate remains pleasant and favorable even in summers also.

 

Winters in Kohima are quite shivering and chilly. The months from November to February of the year faces winters in Kohima.
