Kangra valley is one of the popular and most beautiful valleys in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It spins downward the southern edge of the magnificent Dhauladhar Mountains in the tender slopes covered with the forests of pine, orchards, green tea gardens and terraced fields. The height of the valley is about 14000 feet from the sea level. The valley gets its beauty because of the snow-covered Dhauladhar Mountain range. Dharamshala is the gateway to this beautiful valley. This is the principal rural community of Kangra covering a broad area in the form of city resolution. The mountain range separates this valley into upper and lower Dharamshala.
