Located on Thekkady road, Kumily, this is a well- known centre for Kalaripayattu martial arts. It is believed that this form of art was firstly evolved in Kerala. At this centre of martial art, proper training is given so as to get maximum control over mind and body. The training schedule is categorized into two section; the first one is unarmed technique in which the aspirant learns to have co-ordination and balance over the movements of his body. The second is the armed technique in which advanced training of martial art is given with the help of various weapons like spear, shield and sword.
