N K Sharma constructed this museum recently in 1984 but at present, it is one of the great attractions in Jaisalmer. This historic museum is situated at the untouched banks of GadiSagar in Jaisalmer. Folklore museum was formed with an aim to impart complete generation of Jaisalmer city with the help of artifacts displayed in the museum. Overall the museum is classified into six sections. Every section displays the remnants of different category like paintings, hairstyles, jewelries, costumes and also photographs. Other than these, there are also many more artifacts displayed in this museum telling something more about Jaisalmer.
