Reach Munnar byRail

Unfortunately, Munnar does not have its own railway station just because of lying on high altitude but the nearest railway station is at Ernakulam. From Ernakulam Railway Station, it hardly takes four to five hours to reach Munnar as it is around 120 km from Munnar. From there, you can hire taxis which approximately cost about INR2500.

In Munnar, there is no airport of its own. The nearest airport is at Kochi which is hardly 130 kms away from Munnar. The name of this major airport is Cochin International Airport. From airport, you can hire taxis to Munnar which cost around INR 3000.
