Hawa Mahal is the most popular destination to visit in Jaipur. The Hawa Mahal was built in the year 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. The Hawa Mahal stands for the Palace of winds or Palace of breeze is in the form of the crown of Krishna, the Hindu god. The palace was designed by Lal Chand Ustad. It is a five-storey Mahal with 953 jharokhas i.e. windows built in red and pink stones. The Hawa Mahal is situated in the heart of the city. In the early morning when the golden light of the sun falls on it, it gives a striking view which is incredible.
