Hadimba Devi Temple, Manali, Himachal Pradesh - Religious belief and cool atmosphere

This cave temple is dedicated to Hadimba Devi, sister of Hadimb and the wife of Pandav prince Bhima. Amidst the cedar forests is this ancient cave temple of Hadimba Devi which was built in the year 1553. The sanctuary is built over a huge rock sticking out of the ground. A good piece of architecture can be noticed here and the temple is beautifully designed. The doors are all wooden and the roof is in a form of the tower which consists of three squares covered with tiles and fourth brass cone-shaped roof at the top. Visit the temple and feel the serenity in yourself.
