Gurudwara Shrimanji Sahib Alamgir, Ludhiana, Punjab - A popular religious attraction in Ludhiana
Located at the outskirts of Ludhiana in the village of Alamgir, GurudwaraShrimanji Sahib is one of the most popular religious attractions for the devotees. The place presents an outstanding example of the religious harmony as it is the site where Muslim devotees Nabi Khan and Ghani Khan provided protection to Guru Gobind Singh during the battle. The shrine houses a holy tank which is considered auspicious by the devotees and they take a holy dip in this water to get ‘mukti’. The legends say that Guru Gobind Singh shot an arrow at this place and water gushed out of it. An annual fair is held at the Gurudwara in the month of December.
