On the High Court road, one can see wonderful museum named as Government Museum. This museum is situated in the hub of Umaid Public garden. During the era of Maharaja Umaid Singhji, this museum was built. The main and rare collection of this museum includes weapons, miniature paintings, local art and cultures and also different textiles of that time. This museum has also given place to the images and manuscripts of Jain Tithankars and also sketches of rulers. There also lies a zoo and a public library in the premises of Government museum. Children enjoys a lot while visiting this museum.
