Located in the centre of the Lohagarh Fort, the Government Museum showcases a rich collection of archeological wealth of the region. In 1944, the palatial building known as the Kachahari Kalan was converted into a museum and later the Kamra Khas was also added to it. The major exhibits included in the museum are the excavated sculptures, artifacts from 1^st to 19^th century AD, paintings, zoological specimens, manuscripts, local arts and weaponry used by the royals of Bharatpur. It is indeed a landmark with having a rich amalgamation of the glorious past and rich culture of Bharatpur.
