Located at the height of 1402 meters on a hillock and only 3 kms away from the Kalimping town, an observatory spot named DurpinDara. Usually, one can reach this point simply with a car drive and being the highest point in Kalimpong, it offers mind-blowing, simply superb and tremendous breath-taking views of the deep valleys like the Tista and the Rangit Valley, covered with green layer and also the Himalayan Ranges. One could captivate the views of the Kanchenjunga on the north-west side, the Chola range on the east and the Tiger Hill on the south.
