The Dukh Bhanjani Ber Tree is a jujube tree, which is situated on the eastern elevation of the Amrit Sarovar in the Golden Temple Complex. As per the myths, the leper husband of Bibi Rajani was treated by taking a plunge into the pool close to the tree. When Guru Ram Das Ji heard of this miracle, he determined to expand the tank into a proper dip tank. The tree located close to the pond was named as Dukh Bhanjani, which factually means the killer of sufferings.
