Daporijo is a large mesmerizing town situated at the confluence of the Sippi and Subansiri rivers which is situated on the right bank of River Subansiri. The places of inquisitiveness are the local villages in and around the town and there is an old-fashioned cave a few kilometers away. Daporijo is ideal for trekking and angling in River Subansiri. Daporijo is the dwelling place of the significant tribes such as Hill Miris, Tagins and Adi-Gallongs. The Adis are very skillful weavers of canned goods and much of their nimble-fingered skills can be seen in the celebrated cane suspension bridges of Arunachal Pradesh.
