Best Season & Best time to visit Daman and Diu

Since the island of Daman and Diu lie near the sea, the weather is usually pleasant, calm and breezy all round the year. But the best time to visit the place is from October to April.

 

Summers extend from March to May and are little hot with temperature varying from 26 degree C to 37 degree C. The hottest month here is May but the weather remains cool and humid and the tourists can enjoy water sports activities.

 

Winters last from November to February and are the pleasant months with cool temperature ranging from 32 degree C to 10 degree C. Due to a favorable climate, these months are considered to be ideal for sightseeing, beach activities and outings.

 

Due to the sea depressions, the region experiences heavy rainfall in the months of June to September. Thus the monsoon months are generally avoided by the tourists to plan a tour to Daman and Diu.
