Christ Church, Mussoorie, Uttarakhand - Gothic style of architecture

Though Mussoorie is a hill station, but it also offers myriad of religious places for worth visit and Christ Church is the main example for that. This Gothic styled Church is one of the oldest churches in the hill station and was erected in 1836. The main attraction of this magnificent Church is that tall altar which tells us clearly about the sins of Jesus Christ without uttering a single word. A deodar tree was planted by the Princess of Wales in 1906 during her visit to Mussoorie and one could see that tree standing still in the courtyard of the Church.
