Being hub of temples, Khajuraho houses the Chitragupta temple which is simply a superb one!! The temple is dedicated to Lord Surya, one of the Hindus’ Deities. The temple places an idol of the deity which is quite mesmerizing and the walls of the temple are engraved with the images of dancing poses and speaks a lot about the luxurious life style of Chandela ruler without uttering a single word. This is the only single temple of Lord Surya in the entire city and the idol of the deity is really very awesome standing erect about 5 feet high and is also very alluring!!
