Housing various exotic species of flowers and plants, the Botanical Garden in Yercaud is a must visit place for the tourists. With having a rich collection of orchids in the Orchidarium and a nicely maintained green house, the garden offers a lot of things to be explored by the nature lovers. Yercaud is also famous for the beautiful Kurinji flower that blooms once in every twelve years and the Botanical Garden houses plenty of these flowers along with lady’s slipper orchid and Vernonia Shevaroyensis. The Orchidarium located inside the garden is home to about 30 endangered species of orchids and is the third largest orchidarium in India.
