Best Season & Best time to visit Bomdila

Bomdila experiences a pleasant and alpine climate most of the time in year. The summer season is the peak tourist period in the town and the best time to visit the place is from March to October. However, the famous Losar Festival held in early March also draws a huge crowd in the town.

 

Summers in the town begin from April and extend till the month of June and the temperature usually doesn’t exceed beyond 30 degree C. The climate is mild enough to enjoy sightseeing and attractions in the town. June is the hottest month of the year but still a number of tourists plan a visit to this lovely holiday destination during summers.

 

Rainfall is quite common in Bomdila due to the presence of lofty mountains in the region. The south west monsoon brings good rainfall in the town during the months from July to September. The climate is quite pleasant and the entire region looks charming and awesome.

 

The winter season extends from December to February with temperature ranging between 11 degree C and 25 degree C. Snowfall is quite common in the region during winters, hence this time is usually avoided by the tourists to plan a trip to Bomdila.
