The GontseGadenRabgyel Ling Monastery is divided into three gompas namely lower gompa, middle gompa and upper gompa. Among them, the upper gompa is regarded as the main monastery. It houses a prayer hall, a Buddhist Temple and a school for the children of monks. It has been a major tourist attraction where the devotees get the preaching’s of Buddha in a peaceful and calm ambience. Then there is the middle gompa which houses the Blue Medicine Buddha, also referred as the Lord of Medications and the deity is believed to cure all the ailments of the devotees. It is the oldest of the three gompas in the monastery. At the end of the market is the lower gompa which showcase the exquisite richness of Tibetan architecture. It houses a huge prayer hall with the wonderful paintings and Buddha statues depicting the culture of Tibet.
