Best Season & Best time to visit Agra

Like most of the Indian cities, Agra weather is also tropical in nature. The weather of the city is divided into three distinctive seasons. Summer season in Agra extends from the month of April to June and Agra is usually very hot during these months. The temperature is often as high as 45 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is recorded at 21.9 degree Celsius. The heat during summer is unbearable.

 

The winters in Agra extend from October to March and the weather is quite chilly during this time. The temperature in the region is around 4.2 degree Celsius and is characterized with heavy fog and haze. The days as well as the nights are cool.

 

The month of monsoon continues till the month of September and generally starts from the month of July. The region witnesses heavy rainfall at an average of about 660 millimetres. Agra could also be visited during the monsoon.

 

If planning for a vacation in Agra then the summer season should be avoided as the temperature is very harsh during summers. The best time to visit Agra is from October to March.
